Ageing may cause some reduction in efficiency and pump ability of heart and a 20 years young male can achieve a maximum heart rate of 200 beats per minute and the same person at the age of 40 may achieve a maximum heart rate of 180 only. Your trainer may advice you to attain not more than 60 % of the maximum heart rate, if you observe any difficulty you should consult to the trainer or the physician.

Make a simple program for walking.

Start with a few minutes in initial days and gradually increase the duration.

For achieving effective results of the walking you should continue walking for a minimum of 30 minutes daily or at least 5 to 6 days of a week.

If your conditions allow you to walk briskly, walk as much as you can. In case you observe any symptoms of breathlessness, vomiting, dizziness or any unusual symptoms, you should contact to your doctor.

Before walking do exercise for stretching of the body parts such as arms, head, shoulder, ankles, stomach, back etc, for a few minutes.

If you get tired during walking, you should gradually slow down your speed.

Too much of brisk walk can cause breathlessness in some of the people.

You should adhere to your walking schedule daily and try to convert your walk in three time zones, first slow walking for 4-5 minutes, second brisk walking and third slow walking for 4-5 minutes.

The first and third time zones are for warm up and clod down zones. Brisk walking should be gradually increased from 405 minutes in initial week to 25-30 minutes after 8-10 weeks.

Can You get Headaches By Working Out?

Can You get Headaches By Working Out?

Not only can you get headaches by working out, but a great many people do. I simple Google search on this subject will yield about one and a quarter million results. So if you get headaches from exercising you are not alone.

We all realize that exercising and shedding pounds go together like two peas in a pod.. No matter what anyone else attempts to tell you, it is not feasible to lose weight without being active. What not a many people understand, however, is that from time to time working out can literally be a pain. I’m not talking about muscle aches and backaches and joint soreness. I’m talking about the pain of exercise induced headache.

Most people put up with workout induced headaches. But there are tons of things that can be done to treat them and keep from getting them again. Here are a few tips.

Drink a lot of water. Drinking water on a regular basis is important. However, it becomes even more important when you work out. Headaches are often caused by dehydration and dehydration can manifest after a workout that has been successful and sweaty (sweat drains the body of fluid). Drinking a good amount of water before, during and after your training can do quite a lot to help you prevent the onset of a headache after your workout. It is often all you need to do to take care of any headaches that turn up post training as well.

Make sure you do an intensive warm up and cool down. Just starting up a workout can zap your system, causing blood to start rushing to the places you are working out, which takes it away from your brain and that can lead to the onset of a headache. When you complete an intensive warm up, your body will be able to steadily improve the blood flow to the areas that need it and then redistribute it back during your cool down which gives the brain time to alter to the flow changes.

Breathe properly during your heavy exercising and weight lifting. Our brains need oxygen to survive and function properly. People are prone to holding their breath if they do something that is difficult or strenuous (like the hard parts of your workout) and that slows the amount of oxygen that gets to your brain. By breathing properly, you will keep a regular flow of oxygen going to your brain and, hopefully, keep the headaches away.

If you discover that you are suffering from headaches regularly and nothing that you are trying is reducing them or helping you keep them away, it is time to talk to your doctor. Your health care provider might be able to identify something that you are doing wrong when you are training or something that may be amiss in your diet. It’s probable that you might need to employ medication to keep the headaches away. Your doctor is able to support you in finding a way to keep on working out and losing weight without having to deal with the headaches.

You may want to start taking a good multi vitamin and mineral supplement. A deficiency of vitamins and/or minerals can cause headaches, as well as other problems. My family has found that a good drink for reducing headaches is Pau D’Arco tea.

Nobody wants to have a headache. We do just about everything that we can think about to keep them from happening to us. The nice thing is that you don’t need to simply suffer through them. So the answer to, “Can you get headaches by working out?” is yes. However, if you take the right precautions and have the right knowledge, you could completely avoid your headaches!

The Secret To A Better Lovelife

The Secret To A Better Lovelife

Today we need to chat about your hormones.

Yeah, I chat a lot about hormones. That’s because I have been to Hormone Hell and back. Twice.

I’ve lived to tell the tale.

It’s scary… and it’s one of those hidden illnesses that you might not even know you have.

I had it at 27. I did not affect my lovelife, but that was probably due to my youth. If I did not treat it then, I would have no lovelife or drive at ALL right now.

I treated it with drugs. That is all we had back then.

Today I use a combination of therapies, many of which are natural….

1. I train with weights to increase testosterone-levels naturally.

2. I train and do cardio before eating in the morning do increase gH levels naturally without drugs.

3. I cycle my calories to increase my thyroid levels naturally.

As you can see there are many ways to increase your hormone levels naturally.

But it’s not all exercise and nutrition. Now we have several “botanical” supplements: Herbs and other natural helpers to help the fight.

I wish I would have known about Dr. Lucille when I was 27.

She’s the expert in that field. Herbs, nutrition for hormone help, and how to protect your body IF you have to take drugs to help the problem like I do.

I listen to her. So should you.

Here’s her site:

The best thing about having your hormones optimized is energy.

Yes, you will burn more bodyfat.

Yes, you will increase your lovelife and your desire to have intimacy.

Yes, you will increase your resistance to disease and common illnesses.

But I think MORE ENERGY is the best.

I have the energy to do anything I want at just about any time I want.

Here’s an example:

Today I had to go to the funeral of a dear friend. She passed away after struggling with a lifetime of various illnesses, many of which were made worse by lifestyle choices. Some she had no control over.

We all loved her dearly.

We drove until 1:00AM this morning. I got up early for the funeral but not early enough to eat breakfast.

I had a large lunch afterwards and then we headed back — another 3 hour boring drive in traffic.

Even with all of this emotional stress, my body only needed a 2-hour nap to pop right back into high gear. I could literally go and workout now at almost 11:00pm if I had to.

I’m glad I don’t because I have a night of packing ahead of me for a business trip!

Still, the point is simple:

Hormone Health = Greater Energy

Most people do not exercise because… get this….

They do not FEEL like it.

I don’t mean “feel like it” as in they would rather do something else, although that is the case sometimes.

I mean “feel like it” in the sense that they have NO energy to do it.

They are tired, run-down after a 9 to 5 day, and feel zonked.

You too?

If so, you need this info…

Remember: More energy, more lovelife. More workouts that burn fat. More done in the day.

More living… in the best way possible.
